Request for Broposal

Applications

Broposal StructureOnly protocols that have deployed contracts onto Testnet (Either V1 or V2) as of the date of the RFB Process shall be eligible to submit RFBs in the RFA form. Protocols who have deployed applications with more thorough integrations on the bArtio testnet, including but not limited to a working frontend, POL functionality and other dApp integrations, will be eligible for larger Allocations. Protocols who are submitting RFBs (Submitting Protocols) must include (a) which Testnet the Submitting Protocol deployed to and the smart contract addresses for the deployment and (b) a description of the proposed uses of the Allocation, which shall be subject to the following criteria:
Up to 15% of the Allocation can be used for the Submitting Protocol's treasury (Treasury Allocation)
A minimum of 70% of the Allocation must be used for Mainnet rewards for users and community (Mainnet Allocation)
A minimum of 10% up to a maximum of 15% of the Allocation must be used to reward Testnet users (Testnet Allocation)
The Treasury Allocation (up 15% of the total Allocation) is usable for audits, treasury, expenses, or any other use case chosen by the developers that benefits the Submitting Protocol's success on Berachain. The Mainnet Allocation (a minimum of 70% of the total Allocation) is usable for forward-looking rewards for users on Mainnet. Within this portion of the Allocation, Submitting Protocols are also able to distribute to 'partner protocols', or other application integrations that can help with onboarding and proliferation of the Submitting Protocol. The Mainnet Allocation should be distributed over an extended period of time to fuel organic growth, and not all at once. The Testnet Allocation (a minimum of 10% and up to a maximum of 15% of the total Allocation) is usable for retroactive rewards for users that engaged with the protocol's testnet deployment on Berachain Artio or bArtio.Applications are responsible for conducting their own sybil detection and filtering process. For the Testnet Allocation, Submitting Protocols must submit a CSV file with:
A list of addresses that should be rewarded for testnet activity
A percentage weighted list of the Testnet Allocation that each wallet should receive
After the Allocations for accepted Submitting Protocols has been determined, Berachain will adjust those weightings to reflect the final Allocation, the percentage of Allocation for testnet users, and individual user weighted portion of that supply.Submitting Protocols that have launched NFT collections on another chain and plan to migrate them to Mainnet after launch can also use a portion of their Testnet Allocation (up to 5%) or Mainnet Allocation to reward users & incentivize moving NFT liquidity over to Mainnet. If the protocol deployed on Testnet, please specify onto which Testnet, and include smart contract addresses for the deployment.
Approval ProcessBerachain will review RFBs on a rolling basis. Feedback may be given at Berachain's sole discretion. All RFBs must be approved, and can be denied for any reason or no reason at the sole discretion of Berachain.Disclosure: All Allocation eligibility will be at Berachain's sole discretion and subject to legal or geographic requirements.
